Welke's House of Roses and Ronald McDonald House Charities

Once a month for the past 4 years, several of the employees at Welke's House of Roses visit the Ronald McDonald House Charities and prepare dinner for the parents staying at the house that have kids staying at Children's Hospital. We had a full house this week and fed over 40 parents and 5 siblings. "We always have a lot of fun and it is a great way to help our community, says Nikki Lemler, Manager of Welkes.

Our involvement with RMHC started back when Nikki's sister, Kelly Lang, was involved in a service project through her church. Ronald McDonald House is close to our heart because they provide a home-away-from-home for families during the medical treatment of their seriously ill children. It feels very good to give back to the community that has blessed our business for the past 100 years.

Would you like to help us make a difference? Bring all your pop tabs Tuesday, April 28, it is Pop Tab Dump Day at Ronald McDonald House from 3:30 - 5 p.m. A big dumpster will be placed outside and everyone is invited to come and dump their tabs.
